Climbed Cyrn-y-Brain, a Marilyn and Dewey peak, in Berwyn mountains near Llangollen. Challenging contacts due to QRM from a nearby radio mast.

Moel Siabod, highest peak in the Moelwynion range, Snowdonia, Wales. Offers panoramic views of 13 out of 14 highest peaks. Scrambling route available.

Moel y Gamelin, highest summit near Llangollen, walked from the famous Horseshoe Pass. Elevation: 577m. 17 radio contacts made.

Elidir Fawr is the northernmost peak in Glyderau range, Snowdonia. This is a 24km circular walk also taking in Y Garn and Glyder Fawr.

Plynlimon/Pumlumon: Highest peak in Cambrian Mountains, Mid Wales. Source of River Severn, Wye, and Rheidol. A popular SOTA summit for radio operators.
