An enjoyable circular hike to Arenig Fawr in Snowdonia, enjoying breathtaking views and easily making VHF SOTA radio contacts from the summit.

Mynydd Nodol offers scenic views of the Arenigs. With mining remnants and a large cairn, it’s a relatively easy SOTA hill to activate.

Shobdon Hill: Easy SOTA summit in Herefordshire. Well-used parking. Followed path to ridge. Large activation zone. Not exciting, unlikely to return.
